More Creatures Mod 1.12.2 Overview

More Creatures Mod adds 29 new hostile mobs to Minecraft 1.12.2, each with unique abilities and attacks. These creatures spawn throughout the Overworld, Nether, and End, making your world feel alive and dangerous. Alongside new mobs, you get powerful weapons, special armor, and cool decorative blocks.

New Items & Blocks

Weapons & Tools

Demonic Trident is the star weapon. It burns enemies, launches fireballs when you right-click, and knocks mobs back hard. The Fire Sword, Ender Sword, and Freezing Sword all have 1000 durability and apply status effects on hit.

Head Cutters come in five tiers (Wooden to Diamond). Use them to farm mob heads from Creepers, Skeletons, Zombies, and Wither Skeletons. Higher tier = better drop rates (up to 50% with Golden Head Cutter).

Armor & Equipment

Ghast’s Helmet lets you shoot fireballs by holding Shift. Magma Chestplate burns mobs in a 5-10 block radius. Warping Chestplate launches you around like ender pearls. Slimy Boots give you a stomp attack with 10 damage and no fall damage. Winged Fire Boots let you glide without taking fall damage.

Quick Sand makes mobs sink and fall
Poison Quick Sand sinks mobs and poisons them
Fire Block burns everyone on contact
Ender Block teleports mobs to random locations
Ice Block applies slowness and mining fatigue

Special Items

New Mobs

Common Hostile Mobs

Charger (20 HP, fast, 3 damage) is a chameleon-like mob that blends into terrain. It spawns day and night in most biomes.

Chester (20 HP) is a haunted chest housing a witch’s spirit. Double Chesters have 40 HP and drop 2 chests. Xmas Chester spawns only in cold biomes at night. End Chester teleports around and drops Ender Chests.

Half Zombie (10 HP, slow) is the result of toxic waste damage. Easy to kill but spawns everywhere in the Overworld.

Mutated Creeper (20 HP) has a 4x bigger explosion and 12x when charged. Four heads instead of one make it unmistakable.

Gnoll (20 HP, fast, 6 damage) is an evolved wolf warrior. Baby Gnolls jump and kick while adults just punch.

SlimeClops (20 base HP per size) are ancient slimes that grow to 3x size. Tiny ones go enraged at low health. Huge ones knock you into the air.

Dangerous Creatures

Mushroom (Overworld: 5 HP, Nether: 20 HP) are spirit-possessed fungi. During rain, Overworld mushrooms mutate into giant beasts with 100 HP and 15 damage. Nether mushrooms throw you into lava instead.

Ghoul (5 HP, fast) lunges at you with a powerful trident and burns you. Drops broken Demonic Tridents and Fire Shards.

The Great Hunger (14 HP, fast) eats doors, crops, villagers, animals, and items in its path. It also steals potion effects from players.

Nether Brain (40 HP) dashes, shoots fireballs, and throws large fireballs. Ancient cosmic creature over 1000 years old.

Jungle Beast (20 HP, fast) spits melon seeds for healing and lunges at you. One of the first tribal warriors from 2 million years ago.

Passive & Utility Mobs

Turtle is the only passive mob. Males have white shells, females have pink. Both have growth stages: Baby (7-5 HP), Teen (15-10 HP), Adult (150-100 HP). Male Turtles can be ridden by 2 players or mobs.

Gold Hoarder (20 HP, fast) runs instead of attacking. This cursed human drops gold blocks and fake gold blocks.

Special Creatures

Mr Creeping Bomb (10 HP) explodes on attack. Mr Exploding Bomb (10 HP) puffs up to 10x size before exploding with a bigger radius. Both are failed villager experiments.

Magma Blocky Monster and other unique mobs round out the collection with different abilities and spawn locations.
