Portable Crafting Mod Overview

Portable Crafting Mod does what it says: gives you a crafting table you can carry in your inventory. It keeps items stored in the grid between uses, supports shift-clicking for quick transfers, and adds some useful buttons that make crafting way faster. If you’re tired of hunting for a crafting table, this is your solution.

Features

Persistent Item Storage

Items you place in the crafting grid stay there even after you close it. Log out, come back later, and your work is still there. No more losing half-finished recipes.

Hotkey Buttons for the Crafting Grid

Three handy buttons sit next to the crafting grid, and they’re all linked to hotkeys:

• Rotate: Spins the 8 outer items in the crafting grid. Useful for testing different layouts without moving things manually.
• Balance: Makes all items in the grid have equal stack sizes. Good for spreading resources evenly.
• Clear: Dumps everything from the grid back into your inventory in one go.

Quick Hotkey Access

Press X (default, rebindable) to open the crafting grid instantly from anywhere. No need to open a full inventory screen.

Just Enough Items Integration

The mod works with JEI so you can click the [+] button to dump items straight into the crafting grid. Makes recipe testing and item management way faster.

Installation

What You Need

This mod requires Minecraft Forge. If you’re using Fabric instead, check Roughly Enough Items for a compatible alternative.

Steps

1. Download and install Minecraft Forge for your version.
