For Minecraft 1.8+, yes. The mod 1.7.10 version has iChun Util built in, so it's standalone.

Can I use Keygrip with other mods?

Keygrip generally works fine with other mods. Just install Forge first and place the jar in your mods folder like any other mod.

Keygrip Mod Overview

Keygrip Mod is built by iChun to let you record your character’s movement and replay it back whenever you want. Record as many clips as you like, then mix and match them together to create full scenes. You can change where NPCs spawn, adjust their names, make them walk through blocks, and way more. It’s basically a built-in mocap system right in your game.

Key Features

In-Game Recording with Timeline

Fire up the recorder and capture yourself doing stuff. Rewind the timeline and record a new action on top. Keep stacking clips until you’ve got an entire scene filmed by you, for you. No need to ask friends for help.

Scene Editor Control

Hit F12 to toggle the editor UI while playing (all keybinds can be changed). Use F10 to start and stop actions, F9 to replay the whole scene. Watch the video below to see exactly how it works.

Export and Sync

Save your project and export all actions. Reimport them with timing offsets to create groups of NPCs moving in perfect sync. Imagine an entire crew of dancers all hitting the same moves at once.

Workspace Storage

Keygrip creates a workspace folder in /mods/ for any files it generates. All your recordings and projects stay organized in one place.

Offset Control on Import

Hold shift while hitting OK on an import action window to keep the NPC from being placed at the player position. Gives you fine control over where your replays start.

Version Compatibility

This version includes a stripped-down version of iChunUtil 5.3.0-beta built in as a single package. It works standalone and won’t conflict with other iChunUtil versions. Note: This build doesn’t require Java 7.
