The Handheld Power Mod adds two useful tools to Minecraft: handheld pistons and redstone remotes. Both items let you manipulate blocks on demand, with limited durability.
Handheld Piston
Carry a piston in your hand to push or pull single blocks. Each handheld piston has 100 uses before it breaks. Want a sticky version? Combine it with a slimeball on top to make it pull blocks instead of pushing them.
Redstone Remote
Control blocks from a distance using the redstone remote. It has 1000 uses, so it lasts way longer than the handheld piston. Perfect for automation without running redstone lines everywhere.
How to Install
- Download and install Minecraft Forge
- Download the mod file below
- Open your .minecraft folder
- Go to the mods folder (create it if needed)
- Drag the mod jar into the mods folder
- Start Minecraft and play
Crafting Recipes
Install Just Enough Items (Forge) to see the exact crafting recipes. If you prefer Fabric, try Roughly Enough Items instead.
Compatibility
This mod works with most other mods. If you run into issues, check the mod description or the mod list to see if there’s a known conflict.
