End Of Mending Mod Overview

The Mending enchantment breaks the late-game grind. Once you find it, you basically never repair anything again, and the whole item management loop becomes pointless. End Of Mending removes that and makes repairs actually matter through the endgame.

The mod disables Mending, lowers what you need to repair items, and changes how XP costs work. Your pickaxe will take damage again, and that’s the point.

What This Mod Does

Mending becomes unobtainable in survival mode. You won’t find it on fishing rods or library loot, so it’s back to actually fixing your gear the old way.

Cheaper Repairs

Repairing items now costs 2 resources instead of 4. A diamond pickaxe still requires an anvil and some materials, but it won’t break your bank every time.

Flat XP Costs

Instead of repair costs jumping higher each time you fix something, you pay a flat rate based on the item’s enchantments. Way more predictable, way less painful.
