Do I need Fabric or Forge to use Remapped Mod?

Remapped only works with Fabric. You'll need Fabric Loader and Fabric API installed before adding this mod.

Can I use the cheaper map recipe with player trackers?

No, maps crafted with the ink sac recipe won't have player tracking. If you need player tracking, stick with the compass recipe.

Does Remapped work in multiplayer?

Yes. All players in a multiplayer world will see the improved map colors and behavior, though each player needs the mod installed.

Will Remapped Mod work on older Minecraft versions?

This version is for 1.21 and 1.21.1. Check the 1Minecraft site for versions that work with earlier versions like 1.20 or 1.19.

Does this mod change any other blocks or mechanics?

Nope, it only affects maps and map crafting. Everything else stays the same.

Instead of dealing with dull colors that don’t match what you see in the world, this mod gives you better looking maps that actually show what’s where. Plus, you can craft maps cheaper without needing a compass, and zooming out doesn’t throw off your center point anymore.

What’s Included

Better Map Colors: Maps display more accurate colors that actually match your world. It’s way easier to spot different biomes and blocks at a glance.
Cheaper Maps: Swap the compass requirement for an ink sac. Makes map crafting much less grindy. Note: maps made this way won’t have player trackers.
Improved Map Zooming: The center of your map stays put when you zoom out instead of shifting around. Navigation is way smoother.
