Flying Things Mod 1.15.2, 1.14.4 (Brooms & Carpets)

The Flying Things Mod gives you enchanted brooms and magic carpets to ride. Fly around the world, customize your gear, and see Minecraft from above.

What’s Included

Brooms and Carpets

• Craft enchanted brooms and magic carpets to ride.
• Only players can use them. Single passenger per flying thing to keep movement easy.
• Color your broom with any vanilla dye. Right-click it with a dye to change colors, or use a wet sponge to remove the color.

Flying Controls

• Use your forward key to move. Your looking direction controls where you fly.
• Sneak to get off and return the flying thing to your inventory.
• Hold sneak and right-click to spawn it without mounting automatically, or force it back to item form.

Water Flying

• Optional: fly in water (enable in config).
• See clearly underwater while riding.

Getting Started

You need to find a Phial of Animation first. These spawn in structure chests. With one in your inventory, you can craft flying things.

Ride them like a normal vehicle. The forward key moves you. Look around to change direction. Sneak to dismount and return it to your inventory.

Installation

This mod requires Minecraft Forge. Install Forge for your Minecraft version, then put the mod file in your .minecraft/mods folder.
