Void Island Control Mod for Minecraft

Void Island Control lets you create skyblock servers on a completely empty void world. Instead of the usual terrain, you spawn on isolated islands that you can customize in tons of ways. It’s built for multiplayer and team play from the ground up.

What You Get

The mod comes with 4 different island types to choose from:

• Grass island
• Sand island
• Snow island
• Wood island
• Garden of Glass (requires Botania and Garden of Glass mods)

All island types work with Sky Resources, so you can grab materials without leaving your island. You can enable or disable any type you want in the config file.

How to Get Started

In single-player: When creating a new world, pick “Void World” as your world type.

On servers: Set the world type to “voidworld” in your server config.

Once you’re in, use /island create to spawn your first island. If you want a specific type, add it after the command, like /island create grass.

Commands You’ll Use

• /island create [type] – Start a new island. Pick grass, sand, snow, or wood.
• /island invite [player] – Let another player join your island.
• /island leave – Leave your island and go back to spawn. Your inventory gets cleared.
• /island home – Teleport back to your island from spawn.
• /island spawn – Go to the spawn point.
• /island reset [type] – Clear everything and start over with a fresh island.
• /island onechunk – Limit your island to a single chunk. Needs to be enabled in config.
• /startingInv – Set what items new players start with. Put items in your inventory and run the command.

Customize Everything

The config file has tons of options. Here’s what you can tweak:

• What blocks fill the space under islands
• Remove or keep bedrock
• Generate an overworld on top of the void (single biome or varied)
• Cloud and horizon height
• Island height, size, and distance between them
• Void nether dimension with portal linking
• One chunk mode for challenge runs
• Starter chest with items
• Starting inventory for new players
• Spawn command blocks on each island
• Run commands when the world starts

What You Need

Minecraft Forge is required. If you’re on 1.11.2, you’ll also need CompatLayer.
