Difficulty Lock Mod
If you’ve ever wanted to lock your difficulty setting and prevent accidental changes, this mod does exactly that. Set your world to peaceful, easy, normal, or hard, then lock it in place. You can also change difficulty even on worlds where it’s already locked.
Features
- Force Peaceful – Set any world to peaceful difficulty
- Force Easy – Set any world to easy difficulty
- Force Normal – Set any world to normal difficulty
- Force Hard – Set any world to hard difficulty
- Difficulty Lock – Prevent difficulty from being changed after you set it
- Override Locked Difficulty – Change the difficulty even on locked worlds

You also need to install the Collective Library mod.
Installation
- Install Forge, Fabric, NeoForge, or Quilt for your Minecraft version
- Install the Collective Library mod
- Download the Difficulty Lock mod file
- Put the jar file in your
.minecraft/modsfolder - Launch the game
