SchopCraft Mod turns Minecraft into a real survival challenge. It adds temperature, thirst, sanity, wetness, and a ghost respawn system that makes you actually think about staying alive. If you want Minecraft to feel less forgiving and more intense, this is the mod for you.

What You Get

Temperature

Stay too warm or too cold and you’re in trouble. You’ll freeze in snow biomes or burn up in the Nether without the right gear. Warm up by standing near fire, wearing armor, eating hot food, or chilling in warm biomes. Cool down by staying in cold biomes, eating cold food, or dunking yourself in water. Push it too far in either direction and you’ll die from heat stroke or hypothermia.

Thirst

Your thirst meter needs management. You can drink dirty water straight from a source block (it’ll hurt you), but better yet, craft a canteen to collect and filter water. The canteen can hold water and be filtered with charcoal, then cooled with snowballs. For even better water storage, use the HydroPouch which holds more and lasts longer. Rain collectors (cauldrons) gather fresh rainwater automatically when it rains.

Sanity

Spending too long alone, in the dark, or near hostile mobs tanks your sanity. Low sanity means hallucinations and something called “They” will start spawning and attacking you. Keep sanity up by staying near animals, eating good food, and sleeping. High sanity keeps the nightmare creatures away.

Wetness

Water is tracking how drenched you are. Being wet longer affects temperature control, but you can dry off in sunlight or with a towel. The wetness system ties everything together without being annoying.

Ghost Mode

Die and you respawn as a ghost at your death location. As a ghost you’re invincible but can’t pick up items or interact with blocks. At night you gain energy to move faster and show yourself. To resurrect, build a resurrection structure with soul sand, torches, and a lucid block, then use a golden apple and wait for lightning to strike you back to life.

Important Items and Crafting

Canteen – Stores water for drinking. Right click water or a rain-filled cauldron to fill it. Water type depends on your biome (ocean gives salt water, swamps give dirty water, etc). 100 durability.

HydroPouch – Better canteen with 12 sips per fill instead of 3. Consumes the entire water source block when filling. 300 durability.

Charcoal Filter – Crafts with dirty water to make filtered water. Much better for your health.

Towel – Dry yourself or transfer wetness between you and the towel. Right click normally to dry off, sneak and right click to get wet (emergency cooldown). 100 durability.

Feather Fan – Right click to instantly cool down. Has 7 uses. Save it for the Nether.

Ice Cream – Boosts sanity and cools you down. That’s all you need to know.

Lucid Block – Used for resurrection. Place it in the center of a soul sand diamond with torches, add a golden apple, and get struck by lightning to come back to life.

Installation

Requirements: Minecraft Forge for 1.12.2

Steps:

1. Install Minecraft Forge 1.12.2
2. Download SchopCraft Mod 1.12.2 below
3. Place the .jar file in your mods folder (.minecraft/mods)
4. Launch Minecraft with the Forge profile
