Gilded Blackstone is a vanilla block you can find in the Nether. It doesn’t craft, and you can’t get it from a furnace. You just have to find it, mine it, and grab it.
Where to Find Gilded Blackstone
Gilded Blackstone spawns naturally in Bastion Remnants throughout the Nether dimension. It’s a decorative block made of blackstone with gold plating, so it stands out once you know what to look for. You’ll need to travel to the Nether and hunt through Bastion Remnants to gather it.
Creative Mode
If you’re in Creative mode, Gilded Blackstone is in the Building Blocks section of your inventory. Just search for it or scroll through the blocks tab.

How to Mine Gilded Blackstone
1. Get a Pickaxe
You need a pickaxe to mine Gilded Blackstone. Any pickaxe works – wooden, stone, iron, diamond, golden, or netherite. Without a pickaxe, the block won’t drop and you won’t get anything.
2. Find and Mine It
Once you’ve found a block of Gilded Blackstone in a Bastion Remnant, hold down your mine button:

3. Collect the Drop

- Gilded Blackstone (most common) – the block itself
- Gold Nuggets (rare) – useful for crafting
Both drops are worth keeping. The block looks good in builds, and gold nuggets are always useful.
