Living Exp Mod 1.12.2 is a small farming mod that solves one of Minecraft’s biggest pain points: mining. Instead of traveling hundreds of blocks to find more ore, you can grow it. Using Living Exp plants and some crafting, you can farm diamonds, iron, gold, and other valuable resources right at home. The catch? It’s expensive. You’ll need magma cream, vanilla plants, and a lot of patience.
How Living Exp Works
Finding Living Exp
Living Exp spawns naturally in leafy caves deep underground, around Y-level 20-30. You’ll recognize mature plants by their yellow bulbs and blue leaves. Once you have some Living Exp, you can start crafting recipes to grow the resources you need.
Growing Resources
The mod includes crafting recipes that let you farm normally unfarmable items like mineral ores. Each resource has its own recipe. More valuable items (like diamonds) require more materials to grow. It’s a solid trade-off: spend resources now to save mining time later.
