How to Get Swift Sneak
You can add Swift Sneak to your leggings three different ways:
Using an Enchanting Table
Place your leggings in an enchanting table and look for Swift Sneak in the list. You might need to reroll a few times to find it. It’s a mid-tier enchantment, so expect to spend 15-30 levels depending on what shows up.
Using an Anvil
If you already have an enchanted book with Swift Sneak, you can combine it with your leggings on an anvil. This is the most reliable way to add it if you find or trade for the book.
Using Commands
The fastest way is to use the enchant command. You’ll need cheats enabled:
/enchant @p swift_sneak 1
/enchant @p swift_sneak 2
/enchant @p swift_sneak 3
Equipping and Using Swift Sneak
Once you have leggings with Swift Sneak, just wear them like normal leggings. Move them into your armor slot and your character will put them on. The speed boost activates as soon as you hold shift to sneak. The higher the enchantment level, the faster you move while sneaking.
Swift Sneak III gives you noticeably faster movement compared to Swift Sneak I, so if you’re doing a lot of sneaking, max level is worth aiming for.
