Sparks Hammers Mod Overview

Sparks Hammers adds a bunch of different hammer and excavator tools to your mining arsenal. These aren’t your average pickaxes. Hammers break stone in a 3×3 area while excavators do the same for dirt-like blocks. You can customize how fast they mine and their durability through the config file.

The hammers play similar to Tinkers Construct but stay true to vanilla Minecraft style. They use the same materials as regular tools, so if you’ve got iron, you can make an iron hammer.

Hammer Types

Regular Hammers

Standard hammers that break a 3×3 area of stone-like blocks. They’re built with the same materials as pickaxes but with slower mining speed (0.6x by default) and way more durability (6x). You can make them from wood, stone, iron, gold, or diamond.

Regular Excavators

The dirt equivalent. These break a 3×3 area of dirt, grass, sand, and similar blocks. Available in the same material tiers as hammers.

Mini Hammer

Breaks a smaller 1×3 area vertically. Hold shift to rotate it to 3×1 horizontally. It’s got less durability since it’s doing less work, but it’s useful when you don’t need the full 3×3 coverage.

Giant Hammer

The opposite of mini. This thing breaks a 9×9 area. If you’re flying or mining up and down, the area centers on the block you hit. Otherwise it shifts upward so the bottom sits at your feet. Takes way more materials to make, but you get tons of durability in return.

Nether Star Hammer

A powerful hammer that digs straight down. It breaks a 3×3 hole 16 blocks deep in one swing. Only has 10 durability total, and each tunnel costs 1 durability.

Mjolnir

The legendary hammer. According to the lore, it was forged in a dying star and sits in a hidden shrine somewhere in your world. Getting it requires defeating a great beast in another dimension first. If you’re worthy, you’ll find it.

Powered Hammer

Uses energy instead of durability. Works with Forge Energy (FE) and Redstone Flux (RF). When it runs out of power, it’ll burn through durability instead.

Hammer Crafting Table

A special crafting table for building more advanced hammers and excavators. Lets you craft bigger and better tools than you could with a normal table.

Crafting Recipes

Use Just Enough Items (Forge) or Roughly Enough Items (Fabric) to see all the recipes in-game.

What You Need

This mod requires:

• Minecraft Forge
• KewaiiLib
• CraftTweaker Mod
• Rice Crafting Table Mod

How to Install

1. Download Minecraft Forge for your version if you don’t have it
2. Unzip the downloaded file
3. Put the mod files in your .minecraft/mods folder
4. Put any script files in your .minecraft/scripts folder
5. Launch Minecraft with the Forge profile
