Iris & Oculus Flywheel Compat Mod
Flywheel’s got some great optimizations, but they turn off the moment you load a shaderpack. This mod forces them to stay on. If you’re already using Iris or Oculus with Flywheel-dependent mods, this is a free FPS boost. If you don’t use shaders, it won’t do anything since Flywheel keeps optimizations on by default.
What It Does
Normally, Flywheel disables its rendering optimizations when it detects a shader mod. This mod bypasses that check, letting Flywheel optimize your rendering even with shaders active. The result is smoother gameplay and better frame rates without sacrificing shader quality.
Performance Impact
Real FPS gains depend on your setup, but players report noticeable improvements when running complementary or similar mid-tier shaders. Your mileage varies based on other mods and settings.
