Planetoid Mod transforms Minecraft world generation into something totally unique. Instead of the standard terrain, you get small planet-shaped chunks of biomes scattered across your world. Each planetoid has its own theme and will spawn the right plants and features for that biome type.

What Are Planetoids?

Planetoids are tiny spheres of different block types floating in your world. The mod includes tons of varieties: Dirt, Sand, Wood, Water, Stone, Glowstone, Gravel, Cobblestone, Coal, Iron, Lava, Redstone, Lapis Lazuli, Gold, and Diamond planetoids.

Natural Biome Features

Sand planetoids spawn cacti
Dirt planetoids get tall grass and sugarcane
Since version 0.8, default Minecraft generation applies to all planetoids (so you get trees, structures, and other natural features)
