The Eroded Badlands is a rare biome in Minecraft that features massive colorful terracotta spikes stacked in layers. You'll find red sand, dead bushes, and cacti throughout. It's one of the coolest biomes to explore and mine for different terracotta colors.

Do I need mods to use these seeds?

The Eroded Badlands is one of the rarest biomes in Minecraft. It’s got towering spikes made from stacked layers of different terracotta colors (red, orange, yellow, brown), plus red sand, dead bushes, and cacti scattered around. Perfect if you’re into mining different colors of terracotta or just want a unique spawn location.

Spawns you in a big Mesa biome loaded with colorful terracotta blocks. Head west and you’ll hit the Wooded Badlands up on the mountain ridge. Look for the oak trees and coarse dirt to spot it easily. Keep going and you’ll find the actual Eroded Badlands on the other side at coordinates 60, 66, 172. There’s also a River to the north that cuts through the red sand and terracotta mountains.

Drops you in a Desert biome with a huge cavern right nearby for exploring. Travel south to 16, 64, 352 and you’ll find a Desert village with a pyramid in the middle. West of that is a Coral Reef in a Warm Ocean. If you head east, the Eroded Badlands shows up with those huge spikes made of different terracotta colors.

This one spawns you right in the middle of the Eroded Badlands with tall spikes everywhere. Cross a river to the west and you’ll hit the Mesa biome, then the Stony Shore. Further out is a Coral Reef in the Warm Ocean if you want to mix up your exploring.

Another Mesa-heavy spawn with plenty of colorful terracotta. Go west to find the Wooded Badlands on the mountain. Check for oak trees and coarse dirt to identify it. Starts you in a Forest biome with an Abandoned Mineshaft close by at 256, ~, 0. Go north for the Windswept Forest, which is all wooded mountains. Or head east to find the Eroded Badlands and its colorful terracotta spikes.
