Copper Evolution Mod gives copper a real purpose in your game. When Minecraft added copper, it was mostly just for decoration. This mod changes that by building out an entire copper-themed content system with new mobs, tools, armor, structures, and a dedicated NPC trader.
What’s New
Three New Mobs
Automatons are hostile copper constructs that spawn during rain. They deal damage with electric shocks and are pretty dangerous in groups. Watch out when it starts raining.
Sparks are tiny hostile wisps that appear when lightning hits a mob. They attack players and can heal both Automatons and Copper Turrets, making them annoying support units.
Copper Turrets are golem-like mobs that protect your base. They automatically attack nearby monsters, but oxidize over time. You can wax them like regular copper blocks to keep them shiny, scrape off oxidation, or heal them by right-clicking with a copper ingot. Pick them up as items by right-clicking with an empty hand. Check their health by sneaking and right-clicking.
Coppersmith Villager
A new NPC who trades copper-related items. He uses the Copper Compressor block as his workbench, so set one up to get him trading.
Copper Tower Structure
A new structure that generates on mountains. It contains the Copper Brain, which you need to craft Copper Turrets.
Armor, Tools & Weapons
Five new sets of copper-based gear to craft and equip. Includes a unique Shock effect that damages players.
