Emotecraft Mod Overview

Emotecraft brings Bedrock-style emotes to Java Edition. Your character can perform custom animations that sync across multiplayer worlds. Set up fast-access bindings, create your own emotes, or use ones from the community. It’s straightforward to install and works with most other mods.

How to Use

Quick Menu

Press B (default key) to open the emote menu. The search box in the top-left lets you find emotes by name, description, or creator. Select an emote from the list and click to play it. Your character performs the animation immediately.

Fast Access Binding

The fast-access panel on the left side of the menu has slots for your favorite emotes. Select an emote, then click an empty slot to bind it. Right-click any slot to remove the emote. This makes it quick to play emotes you use all the time.

Custom Keybindings

Want a keyboard shortcut? Select an emote, then click the empty box next to it. Press the key you want to use. The binding works just like Minecraft’s control settings. Press ESC or click reset to remove a keybinding.

Each key can only trigger one emote. If you try to set a key that’s already bound, a confirmation screen appears. Click YES to move the key to the new emote, or NO to keep the old binding.

Requirements

You’ll need either Minecraft Forge or Fabric API installed. Check the mod manager you’re using to install the dependency first.
