Zelda Sword Skills+ Mod for Minecraft

Add Zelda-like sword combat to Minecraft. Learn sword techniques, wield legendary weapons, and master epic combat skills.

Zelda Sword Skills+ Mod

If you’ve always wanted to play Zelda inside Minecraft, this mod is your answer. Zelda Sword Skills+ brings a full combat system inspired by the Legend of Zelda series, complete with sword techniques that level up as you use them, iconic items like bombs and hookshots, and dangerous new mobs to fight. Your sword skills improve with every swing, and combat becomes way more engaging than just mashing left-click.

Sword Skills

Combat Techniques

Master these signature moves by practicing in the field. Each skill levels up independently as you use it.

Basic Sword Technique locks your view onto a target. Press X to lock on, Tab to switch targets, and use the arrow keys to attack and block. Your combo meter builds with each hit, and bigger combos mean bigger damage.

Dash Attack charges you forward while blocking. It deals minor damage and knockback, getting stronger as your skill levels up. Uses moderate hunger.

Dodge is a quick sidestep that lets you avoid incoming damage. Tap left or right to dodge. Timing is everything, and your success rate improves with skill level. Uses very little hunger.

Parry blocks incoming blows when you tap back while being attacked. Land it right and you might disarm your opponent. Uses low hunger.

Armor Break is a charged attack that ignores enemy armor. Hold attack until it triggers. Uses moderate hunger and gets faster as you level it up.

Leaping Blow is an area attack you perform by holding block and then jumping. It damages everything in a radius and causes weakness. Uses a lot of hunger but hits hard.

Spin Attack is Link’s signature move. Hold left or right to charge, then spin in a circle hitting every enemy around you. Takes a lot of hunger but it’s worth it for clearing crowds.

Sword Beam fires energy from your sword when you’re at full health and locked on. Sneak while attacking to fire it. The beam counts as a direct hit for combos and range increases with your skill level.

Sword Break is a fierce block that can destroy an opponent’s weapon. Double-tap back while blocking. Only works when being attacked by someone holding an item.

Special Blocks

Barriers are unbreakable blocks for blocking access. You need powerful Gauntlets to pick them up. The Megaton Hammer can destroy them if you have Golden Gauntlets.

Ceramic Jars are scattered around and often contain items. Right-click to pick one up, right-click again to throw it. Break them with your sword, arrows, hookshot, or explosions to get the loot. Jars drop emeralds, arrows, hearts, deku nuts, potions, and bombs.

Dungeon Core and Dungeon Stone are special blocks for building dungeons. Dungeon Stone can copy the texture of any block by right-clicking it while sneaking. Both types work as spawners and decorative blocks.

Locked Doors and Locked Chests require specific keys to open. Once unlocked, they’re just normal blocks.

Wooden and Rusty Pegs block passage and need to be hammered down. They’ll pop back up over time if not destroyed completely.

Sacred Flames (Din, Farore, and Naryu) can only be absorbed by swinging a Golden Sword through them. They rekindle after some days pass.

Secret Stone can’t be broken with normal tools. The regular version breaks with explosives. It’s the main block for building secret rooms and dungeons.

Sword Pedestal holds one sword at a time and requires the three Pendants of Virtue to pull the blade out. When holding the Master Sword, it outputs a redstone signal.

New Mobs

Fairies are magical flying creatures that heal you when you touch them. You can catch them in bottles to save their healing for later. They only spawn in swamps at night, but there are rare fairy pools where they stick around.

Gorons are friendly NPCs who trade items and help protect villages. They’re tough and strong but can get overwhelmed. They’ll fight back if you attack them but won’t chase you if you stop.

Chus are common enemies that come in different types. They can merge together when hurt and split apart when killed. Red Chus are weak and found in swamps. Green Chus are stronger and weaken targets. Yellow Chus are the toughest and electric, found in deserts. Blue Chus are rare, found in taigas, and cause cold damage.

Keese are flying enemies that attack from above.
