Battle Allay’s Mod (1.19.4, 1.19.2)

Battle Allay’s Mod gives you an army of combat allays that will fight monsters alongside you. This mod adds several different allay types, each with unique stats and abilities. You also get reworked vex variants that are more balanced.

Allay Types

Basic Combat Allays

Allay Swordsman

• Max Health: 16
• Melee Damage: 6
• The standard fighter. Fast and hits hard, but basic stats all around.

Bell Allay

• Max Health: 27
• Melee Damage: 4
• Armor: 4.5
• A tank build. Low damage output but tanky enough to absorb hits while your other allays do the damage.

Crossbow Allay

• Max Health: 12
• Range Damage: Based on arrow damage
• Support from distance. Slower movement, but good for covering the back line.

Protector Allay

• Shield Durability: 15
• Melee Damage: 1
• Fast moving with a breakable shield. Once the shield breaks, it becomes a Swordsman Allay and keeps fighting.

Special Allays

Bookman Allay

• Max Health: 25
• Armor: 3.5
• Melee Damage: 1
• Magic support caster. His attacks apply status effects and knockback. When attacked, he can fly up and spawn 2-4 Swordsman clones that die in one hit each.

Chest Allay

• Chest Health: 10
• Armor: 4.5
• Range Damage: Based on arrow damage
• Sits in a protective chest and shoots arrows like a stationary turret. Breaks out as a Swordsman Allay when the chest is destroyed. You can pick it up and place it elsewhere.

Wild Allay

• Max Health: 20
• Damage (Range): 3
• These got lost in the jungle and learned to look scary to scare off mobs.

Lush Allay

• Max Health: 15
• Armor: 4
• Trapped in lush caves. Adapted to survive underground.

Dripstone Allay

• Max Health: 20
• Armor: 1
• Damage (Range): 6
• Also from deep caves, but dripstone ones. Their arms are overgrown with dripstone, making them hit hard despite lower armor.

Items and Tools

Allay in Chest

• Craftable items that spawn specific allay types. Different allays cost different amounts, so check prices before deciding which ones to get.

Totem of Allays

• Right-click to spawn a group of allays. Has a 50-second cooldown and breaks after 14 uses.
• Upgraded version: Amethyst Totem of Allays. Spawns more allays but has a 2-minute cooldown.

Allay Flag

• Hold this to make allays within 30 blocks follow you. They maintain formation and won’t run into each other. Allays only follow if they’re not currently fighting.

Wisps

• Max Health: 5
• Baby allays that spawn naturally in Soul Sand Valleys and Warped Forests.

Upgrades

Amethyst Enhancement

• Right-click allays with amethyst to make them amethyst variants. When an amethyst allay dies, it respawns like a player with a Totem of Undying.
• Allays have a chance to become amethyst when they kill mobs.

Lapis Lazuli Healing

• Right-click allays with lapis lazuli to heal them 5 HP.

Vex Changes

The vanilla vex has been replaced with a nerfed version that can’t clip through walls or surprise attack you. Vexes now have Swordsman and Crossbow variants. Crossbow vexes can ride on top of vindicators.

Allay Outpost

Pillager Outposts can now spawn Allay variants. These conquered outposts don’t have loot, but you can grab free allays and use the structure to defend yourself during raids.

Friendly Fire

Allays won’t hit you, villagers, or golems by accident. Villages get extra protection too. When a villager is attacked, there’s a 25% chance a Chest Allay spawns nearby to defend it.
