Angel Chest Plugin Overview

Angel Chest is a Spigot plugin that automatically creates a secure chest whenever you die. Your full inventory, armor, and experience get stored safely instead of scattering everywhere. You can teleport to your chest, fetch it to you, or let it despawn after a timer. Perfect for servers where you want to reduce item loss frustration.

Key Features

Automatic Chest Creation

When you die, Angel Chest spawns a chest at your death location. The chest locks automatically for a time you set in the config, then drops its contents if not claimed. Players can also manually unlock chests to let friends grab items.

Inventory Recovery

Right-click any of your Angel Chests to restore your inventory. If you’ve picked up other items after respawning, unclaimed items stay in the chest. You decide what you want to keep. Once emptied or the timer runs out, the chest despawns automatically.

Multi-Chest Support

You can have multiple Angel Chests at the same time. Teleport to them, fetch them to your location, or check them all with a single command. Economy integration via Vault lets you charge players for teleport and fetch operations if you want.

Full Customization

All messages are fully customizable. Protect chests from other players or allow everyone to open them. Control which players can teleport, fetch, or manage chests through simple permissions.

Permissions

• angelchest.use – Creates an Angel Chest on death instead of dropping items
• angelchest.protect – Your chests are protected. Only you can open or break them
• angelchest.protect.ignore – Lets you open other players’ protected chests
• angelchest.tp – Use /actp to teleport to your chests
• angelchest.fetch – Use /acfetch to bring chests to you
• angelchest.others – Manage other players’ chests with commands
• angelchest.reload – Reload the plugin config

Commands

• /unlock, /acunlock, /unlockchest – Unlock your chests for other players
• /acinfo, /aclist – View all your chests and manage them (unlock, teleport, fetch)
• /actp – Teleport to a specific Angel Chest
• /acfetch – Teleport an Angel Chest to your location
• /acreload – Reload the configuration file

Installation Instructions

1. Download the Angel Chest plugin JAR file from the links below
2. Stop your Spigot server completely
3. Place the JAR file (and any other included files) into your plugins folder
4. Start your server
5. Wait for it to fully load and generate the config file
6. Done. The plugin is ready to use right away

The plugin creates a config file on first run. You can customize messages, timers, costs, and other settings by editing the config and running /acreload.

Version Compatibility

Angel Chest works on Minecraft Spigot 1.14 through 1.19. Download the version that matches your server. The same JAR usually works across the versions listed above, so check the file description if you’re unsure.
