Cart Livery Mod | Paint Your Minecarts

Tired of boring gray minecarts? Cart Livery Mod lets you paint and customize your carts with colored stickers so they actually look cool. Whether you want to match your Railcraft locomotives or just stand out, this mod gives you all 16 dye colors to work with.

Features

The mod is pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it. You craft stickers using a Livery Cutting Tool, dye them the colors you want, then apply them to your carts with Sneak + right-click. If you want to automate the process, there’s also a Livery Cutting Press that can mass-produce stickers.

Sticker System

Cart Livery is built for customization. The mod itself doesn’t come with stickers. You need to download a resource pack like the Basic Liveries pack to actually have designs to work with. New stickers can be added through resource packs, so you can make your own if you’re feeling creative.

Railcraft Support

If you have Railcraft installed, you can apply Railcraft emblems to your carts the same way you apply stickers. Just sneak + right-click to add or remove them. You can mix and match stickers and emblems on the same cart.

How to Use

Basic Setup:

• Craft a Livery Cutting Tool in a 3×3 crafting table
• Right-click with the tool to open the GUI and design your sticker
• Put paper in the left slot to craft white stickers
• Pull finished stickers from the right slot
• The tool has 100 uses before it breaks

Coloring Stickers:

• Place your white sticker in the center of a 3×3 crafting table
• Put your primary color dye on top, secondary color on bottom
• Craft to get a colored sticker (works like Railcraft locomotive dyes)

Applying to Carts:

• Sneak + right-click with a sticker to apply it to a minecart
• Old stickers pop off so you can reuse them
• Sneak + right-click with the Livery Cutting Tool to remove stickers

Automation with the Livery Cutting Press:

• Craft a Livery Cutting Press in a 3×3 crafting table
• Place paper in the left slot and a template sticker in the middle
• The press makes white stickers matching the template pattern
• Requires RF energy to operate (unless you disable it in config)

Installation

1. Install Minecraft Forge for your version
2. Download the mod jar file and the Basic Liveries resource pack
3. Open your .minecraft folder and go to the mods directory (create it if it doesn’t exist)
4. Drop the mod jar into the mods folder
5. Put the Basic-Liveries.zip file in your resourcepacks folder
6. Start the game and enjoy
