Prehistoric Vanilla Addon brings dinosaurs to Minecraft 1.19 without ruining the vanilla feel. Instead of crazy sci-fi creatures, you get realistic dinosaurs that actually fit in the world. Six unique dinos are included, from water dwellers like the Pliosaurus to dangerous land predators like Velociraptors that will hunt you down.
What’s Included
Creatures
Velociraptor
These are the dangerous ones. They spawn rarely in forests and come looking for trouble. With 25 health and 2 damage per hit, they’re a real threat, especially since they’ll pounce on you. They hunt livestock and get health back by killing animals, so keep your pens secure. You can tame them with Protoeratops Legs and they eat raw meat to heal. They’re smart too, can pick up items like food or totems.
Mononychus
These little guys hang out in deserts and are completely passive. Feed them a spider eye and they’ll dig up loot for you. Pretty useful if you want free stuff. Breed them with fermented spider eyes.
Protoceratops
Found in deserts and mesas, these dinos are aggressive toward Velociraptors so they’ll actually fight them. Tame them with ferns and breed with apples. They’ve got 30 health and 1 damage, plus they can pick up and use items.
Blocks & Items
Fern, Used to tame Protoceratops and other creatures.
When Mononychus digs, it drops copper keys (one-time use) and ancient keys (infinite use). Both lock and unlock chests.
