Rankup Plugin for Spigot 1.15.2, 1.14.4

Rankup Plugin is a Spigot plugin that lets players climb server ranks by meeting certain requirements. Want players to earn ranks through gameplay? This plugin handles it. Players can rank up by grinding XP, logging playtime, spending money, or hitting whatever requirements you set. Each rank can have custom permissions or run commands on the player. It all integrates smoothly with Vault for group management and economy systems.

How Ranking Works

Set up as many ranks as you want with different requirements. A player hits the requirements, uses /rankup, and they get promoted to the next rank. Their permissions change, money gets deducted if needed, and any commands you configured run automatically. You can also set up prestige levels so players can reset and start climbing again.

Commands

• /rankup – Rank up to the next rank
• /ranks – View all available ranks
• /maxrankup – Rank up as much as possible (must be enabled in config)
• /prestige – Reset progress and start over with perks
• /prestiges – View prestige levels
• /rankup3 or /pru – Check plugin info, version, and reload config

Permissions

• rankup.rankup – Use /rankup (default: everyone)
• rankup.auto – Auto-rank when requirements are met (default: everyone)
• rankup.reload – Use /rankup3 reload (default: op)
• rankup.ranks – Use /ranks (default: everyone)
• rankup.info – Use /rankup3 or /pru (default: everyone)
• rankup.prestige – Use /prestige (default: everyone)
• rankup.prestiges – Use /prestiges (default: everyone)
• rankup.admin – Includes checkversion, reload, force, and notify (default: op)
• rankup.checkversion – Check version with /rankup3 (default: op)
• rankup.force – Force rank someone up with /rankup3 forcerankup (default: op)
• rankup.notify – Get update notifications when joining

Installation

1. Download the plugin jar file
2. Put the jar file in your plugins folder
3. Start the server and let it fully load
4. Type “stop” to shut down the server cleanly
5. Start the server again
6. Done. The plugin is ready to use

Requirements

You need Vault installed for group management. A permissions plugin is required (like LuckPerms or PermissionsEx). An economy plugin is optional, but you’ll need one if you want to use money as a ranking requirement.
