PHX’s Dynamic Lights Addon brings light where you need it. Torches, lanterns, glowstone, and other light sources actually glow when you’re holding them or when mobs have them equipped. It’s the kind of thing that makes exploring caves feel way more immersive and actually gives you a reason to pick up that torch instead of just using regular light blocks.
The addon doesn’t touch player.json either, so it plays nice with almost everything else you’ve got installed.

Miner Helmet
The addon adds a new craftable helmet. Equip it and you’ve got a built-in light source. No need to hold a torch while you’re mining anymore.

Installation
Before installing, enable “Holiday Creator Features” and “Molang Features” in your world settings. These are usually already on, but double check if something doesn’t work right.
