About Forgematica Mod
Forgematica Mod (or Litematica-Forge) is a client-side schematic mod that lets you visualize structures before building them. If you’ve ever wanted to build something cool but weren’t sure how to do it, this mod is a game-changer. You get a 3D hologram showing exactly where each block goes, plus tools to clone areas, fill regions, delete blocks, and paste entire schematics instantly in Creative Mode.
Key Features
Building with Schematics
Load a schematic file and see a ghosted preview of the structure in your world. Move it around, rotate it, mirror it, all before placing a single block. In Survival Mode, Forgematica shows you a material list so you know what to gather. In Creative Mode, you can paste the entire structure with one command.
Area Tools
Select any area with the stick and mod hotkeys. Fill entire regions with one block type, clone structures, move buildings around, or delete unwanted areas instantly. The mod handles the heavy lifting so you don’t have to place blocks one by one.
Schematic Management
Create schematics from any area you select. Rename them, save entities within the selection, and organize your builds. Load schematics from your library or download them from the community.
Fine-Tuned Control
All mod features work through the stick and hotkeys. No confusing menus. Rotate, mirror, position, and paste with simple key combinations. The mod remembers your settings between sessions.
How to Create a Schematic
- Equip the stick and press Ctrl+Scroll to switch to Area Selection mode
- Click one corner of the area you want, then right-click the opposite corner. You’ll see a visual box outline
- Press M to open the schematic menu
- Click Area Editor to set up your schematic name and tweak the coordinates if needed
- Click Save Schematic
- Name your build and save it. You can optionally include entities (mobs, armor stands, etc.)
How to Load and Place a Schematic
- Press M and click Load Schematics
- Pick a schematic you’ve saved or downloaded
- Click Load Schematic in the bottom left
- The structure will appear in your world. Switch to Schematic Placement mode with Ctrl+Scroll on your stick
- Hold Alt and scroll to move it. The structure follows your character’s facing direction
- Hold M and press P to rotate or mirror the schematic in the Configure menu
Building or Pasting the Schematic
In Survival Mode: Press M then L to see the material list. Gather the items and build according to the schematic.
In Creative Mode: Open the Configuration Menu, go to Hotkeys, and search for “executeOperation”. Assign two keys to paste the build. Return to the world, set your stick to Paste mode, press your hotkey, and the entire structure pastes instantly.
To remove the schematic borders, press M, click Load Schematics, find your build, and click Unload.

Installation
Install Forge or NeoForge for your Minecraft version first. Then download the Forgematica mod file and drop it into your .minecraft/mods folder.
