Mob Dictionary Mod is a simple utility that lets you record mobs and look up their details in a book. Scan a mob once, and you can flip through the book anytime to check what you recorded.
What Does It Do?
Get a mob into the book by scanning it with the dictionary item. Once recorded, you can open the book later and see all the info you’ve collected about that mob. It’s basically a Minecraft field guide you create as you explore.
How to Install
This mod requires Minecraft Forge. If you don’t have it yet, grab it from the link below, then follow these steps:
- Install Forge for your Minecraft version
- Find your .minecraft/mods folder (create it if it doesn’t exist)
- Drop the Mob Dictionary mod file into that folder
- Launch Minecraft and the mod will load
That’s it. No extra setup needed.
Version Support
Download the version that matches your Minecraft installation. The mod works on both 1.7.10 and 1.9.0.
Crafting the Dictionary
To view all crafting recipes and how to make the dictionary book, we recommend installing Just Enough Items (for Forge) or Roughly Enough Items (for Fabric). These mods show you recipe details right in game.
