Manganese Element Block in Minecraft
Manganese is a chemical element block in Minecraft that represents element 25 from the periodic table. It shows up in the Chemistry Update for Minecraft Education Edition, and you can also use it in Minecraft Pocket Edition, Windows 10, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch if you enable the Education Edition features.
What is Manganese?
In Minecraft, Manganese is a basic element block with the chemical symbol Mn and atomic number 25. It’s one of the blocks you get when Education Edition chemistry features are turned on. You can use it to create more advanced compounds or just learn about real elements while you build.
How to Get Manganese
In Creative Mode
Finding Manganese in the Creative Inventory depends on your Minecraft version:
| Platform | Version | Creative Menu Location |

| Education Edition | 1.17.30+ | Items |

Here’s the technical info you need for Minecraft Pocket Edition:
| Item Name | ID | Data Value | Stack Size | Platform | Versions |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|

Give Command
Use this command in Minecraft Pocket Edition 1.12.0 through 1.20.0 to get Manganese:
/give @p element_25 1 0
Replace @p with your player name if you want to give it to a specific player instead of yourself.
Enabling Chemistry Features
To use element blocks like Manganese, you need to enable Education Edition features in your world. Here’s how:
When creating a new world, toggle the Education Edition option in the world settings. Minecraft will automatically create a backup copy of your world with [EDU] at the start of the name. This copy is where all the chemistry features will work.
Note: Education mode might change how your world works, so the game backs it up first. Use the [EDU] copy if you want to use element blocks and chemistry features.
