Tired of zipping around the sky too fast? Nerfed Elytras Mod slows down your elytra flight to a reasonable speed. This simple mod caps elytra speed at 1 block per tick (20 blocks per second). Everything else about elytra flying stays the same. Normal falling speed doesn’t change. All your other favorite elytra features still work.

What This Mod Does

By default, elytras let you fly as fast as you want. For some players, that’s too fast. This mod puts a hard speed limit on elytra flight so you can actually see where you’re going. The speed cap is fixed at 20 blocks per second. You can’t change it in the config, so what you see is what you get.

Requirements

You’ll need Minecraft Forge installed before adding this mod.

How to Install

Setting up mods is pretty straightforward:

1. Make sure you have Minecraft Forge installed for version 1.18.2
2. Download the mod file from the link below
3. Place it in your .minecraft/mods folder
4. Launch the game and you’re done
