You Are the Creeper 2 Mod

You Are the Creeper 2 is a total conversion mod that does exactly what the name says: turns you into a Creeper. When you load the game, you appear as a creeper (wearing your own skin) and the entire game changes around you.

This isn’t just a cosmetic change. Mobs won’t attack you. Villagers run away from you. But every village spawns a stone castle with a king and guards who will actively hunt you down. Kill that king, take his crown, and you can recruit mobs to your side. Build an army of zombies, skeletons, and creepers and raid the countryside.

What You Can Do

As a Creeper:

• Hold down the ‘H’ key to explode (key is configurable in controls)
• Move around as a Creeper model with your own skin texture
• Hide in caves during the day to avoid mining in sunlight

Recruit an Army:

• Right-click zombies, creepers, or skeletons while holding a crown to control them
• Access a GUI to equip items, set behavior, and check health
• One crown recruits up to 15 mobs to follow you
• Your army attacks villagers and other hostile mobs on sight

Deal with Villagers:

• Villagers are terrified of you and run away
• You can still trade with them if you can catch them
• Each village now has a stone castle containing a king and 5 guards
• Defeat the guards (they’re tough) and kill the king to get his crown

New Items

King’s Crown: Dropped by the village king. Right-click mobs to recruit them. One crown lets you recruit up to 15 mobs.

Village Compass: A red compass that points to the nearest village. Spins wildly if no village is nearby. Essential for finding castles to raid.

Installation

This mod requires Minecraft Forge. Follow these steps:

1. Install Minecraft Forge for your Minecraft version
2. Download the mod from the link below
3. Drop the mod .zip file into your .minecraft/mods folder
4. Launch Minecraft with the Forge profile
5. The mod config file will generate on first run at .minecraft/config/YATC.cfg

You can customize item IDs and other settings in the YATC.cfg file.
