XXVI’s Lightning Player Resource Pack changes how lightning rods and lightning strikes look in Minecraft. Lightning rods now appear as players holding the rods, and when you’re struck by lightning, your character becomes a skeleton. There’s even a 10% chance you’ll turn into a wither skeleton instead of a regular one. You can use any skin you want, though it defaults to Steve.
What This Pack Does
Reskinned Lightning Rods
Lightning rods now look like actual players holding them instead of the default model. Makes lightning strikes feel more dynamic and visual.
Lightning Strike Effects
Get struck by lightning and become a skeleton. Sometimes you’ll get the wither skeleton variant (1 in 10 chance). Looks best with OptiFine installed.
Custom Skin Support
Uses Steve’s skin by default, but you can apply your own skin to match your character.
