Do I need Optifine to use this pack?

Yes, Optifine is required. Install it first, then add the resource pack. They work together to apply the custom book textures.

Will this work with my other resource packs?

It can work alongside other packs, but load order matters. Put xali's Enchanted Books lower in your list if textures aren't showing right.

How many enchanted books get custom textures?

The pack creates unique textures for all enchanted books so you can identify them by their appearance instead of hovering over them.

Does this work on multiplayer servers?

Yes. Resource packs are client-side only, so you can use it on any server without needing permission from the admin.

What resolution are the textures?

What You Get

The pack replaces the default enchanted book model with 16x textures. Each enchantment effect has its own visual style, making your books actually feel different instead of just being renamed copies of the same item. Works with Optifine for best results.

Installation

You’ll need Optifine installed first. Then:

Download the resource pack for your Minecraft version
Open your resource packs folder (easiest way: launch Minecraft, go to Options > Resource Packs > Open Pack Folder)
Drop the downloaded file into that folder
Select it in the Resource Packs menu and move it to the right side
Done
