You'll need Minecraft Forge and LLibrary. Baubles Mod is listed as optional, so you might not need it depending on which wings you craft. Always check for dependency issues when installing.

How long can I fly before the wings break?

Wings are damageable items, so they lose durability as you use them. You can repair them with Fairy Dust in an anvil, so you're not forced to craft new ones every time they wear out.

Wing Varieties

The mod includes nine different wing styles with both avian and insectoid designs. You can craft any of them, so pick whichever looks best to you. Swap between them whenever you want a different look.

Resources You’ll Need

Fairy Dust

Fairy Dust is the core ingredient for most wing recipes. Find Fairy Dust Ore scattered around your world at roughly the same rarity as iron ore. Mine it with a pickaxe to get Fairy Dust. You can also use Fairy Dust to repair damaged wings in an anvil.

Bat Blood

Bat Blood is obtained by using an empty bottle on a bat. Just grab a bottle, find a bat, and right-click to collect the blood. You’ll need this for some of the wing recipes.

Amethyst

Amethyst comes from Amethyst Ore, which is about as rare as diamond ore. Mine it with a pickaxe to collect Amethyst crystals for your crafting recipes.

How to Fly

Once you have wings equipped as a chest piece, press R (or your bound flight key) to take off. Look around to control your direction. Press R again or touch the ground to land. Simple and intuitive.

Viewing Crafting Recipes

The mod has multiple wing recipes to discover. To see all the crafting combinations in-game, install Just Enough Items (for Forge) or Roughly Enough Items (for Fabric). This makes it much easier to plan your crafting.
