Wildfires Mod 1.16.4 adds fire creatures to the game. Place a torch in the overworld and there’s a small chance a fire entity will spawn. These little guys panic and roam around, starting small fires that can grow massively if you ignore them. Want one as a pet? You can tame them, but it’s not easy.
What’s in the Mod
Fire Entity Spawning
Drop a torch in the overworld and wait. Fire creatures have a low spawn chance, but when one appears, it starts panicking immediately. Early on the fire is contained, but if you leave it alone too long, things get out of hand fast. The fire spreads wider and hits a bigger area, making life miserable for your base.
Taming Mechanics
You can tame a fire entity and keep it as a companion. The process is complex though. It’s not just feeding it something random. Figure out what they want and you’ve got yourself a unique pet.
Installation
What You Need:
This mod requires Minecraft Forge. Install Forge first, then drop the mod file into your mods folder (.minecraft/mods).
Step-by-Step:
- Install Forge for your Minecraft version
- Download the Wildfires Mod file
- Place the .jar file in your .minecraft/mods folder
- Launch Minecraft with the Forge profile
