Tetranomicon Mod Overview
Tetranomicon is a compatibility mod that extends the Tetra mod framework to work with materials from a bunch of popular mods. If you run Tetra and want to craft tools from materials in BetterEnd, Create, Biomes You’ll Go, or any of the other supported mods, Tetranomicon hooks them all up so you can actually use them.
This mod adds support for materials from Abnormals mods, BetterEnd, Biomes O’Plenty, Biomes You’ll Go, Create, Enderite, Ice and Fire, Outer End, Quark, Unearthed, and Wyrmroost. That’s a lot of tools to work with.
Supported Materials and Resources
Abnormals Mods
All wood types from the Abnormals collection are supported: Rosewood, Morado, Yucca, Kousa, Aspen, Grimwood, Maple, Bamboo, Poise, Driftwood, River Wood, Cherry, Willow, and Wisteria. Plus Cypress wood from Bayou Blues.
Better End
This is where things get interesting. You get access to metals like Thallasium, Terminite, and Aeternium. Aurora Crystals work like lapis for socketing. Eternal Crystals give Intuit 3 and extra durability, and they can be crafted into fragile but super enchantable tools.
The wood types are also useful: Pythadendron is durable for handles, Dragon Tree is flexible and makes the best bows, and Mossy Glowshroom mines fast but is fragile. Violecite is heavy and gives knockback resistance. Flavolite acts like cobblestone but way more durable, and Eternal Runed Flavolite is almost unbreakable.
Biomes O’Plenty
Cherry, Dead, Hellbark, Fir, Jacaranda, Magic, Mahogany, Palm, Redwood, Umbran, and Willow woods are all available. Dead and Hellbark are the standouts, being hard and durable with good enchantability.
Biomes You’ll Go
This mod adds Pendorite, which is better than Netherite. Ametrine gems can be socketed for armor bonuses. You get a bunch of stone types too: Dacite, Soapstone, Scoria, Rocky Stone, Magmatic Stone, and Red Rock. Skyris and Lament Vines are available for crafting as well.
Wood options from BYG include Aspen, Baobab, Bulbis, Cherry, Cika, Cypress, Ebony, Embur, Enchanted, Ether, Fir, Holly, Jacaranda, Lament, Mahogany, Mangrove, Maple, Nightshade, Pine, Rainbow, Redwood, Skyris, Sythian, Willow, Witch Hazel, and Zelkova.
Create
Andesite Alloy, Brass, Shadow Steel, and Refined Radiance are all supported. Shadow Steel is enchantable and Refined Radiance is very enchantable.
Enderite
Enderite tools can get the Void Floating improvement, which keeps your tools from falling into the Void when you die.
Ice & Fire
Dragon and sea serpent scales can be used to wrap hilts and handles. Fire dragon scales give better damage and reduce Blazing. Ice dragon scales boost durability. Lightning dragon scales improve swing speed. Dragonsteel also works, plus Dragonbone and Witherbone are compatible by default.
Outer End
Azure wood and Crystal shards are available. Crystal shards can be socketed: rose for damage, mint for efficiency, and cobalt for Intuit (like lapis).
Quark
Slate, Limestone, Marble, Jasper, Voidstone, and Myalite are all supported. Myalite is better than iron at mining but not as light or durable as diamond.
Unearthed
Nine stone types: Gabbro, Rhyolite, Kimberlite, Phyllite, Slate, Quartzite, Marble, Schist, and Limestone.
Wyrmroost
Blue Geodes are roughly diamond tier. Red Geodes are better and can be socketed. Purple Geodes are the best and have the highest tool level in the game. You also get Platinum and Drake Plate.
