Green Castle is a survival map that puts you in a peaceful castle on a hilltop. It’s got that cozy vibe with enough supplies inside to get you started, and the area around it has plenty of room to explore. Creator sean_japan designed this one for people who want a chill survival experience without too much chaos.
What’s Inside the Castle
When you spawn, you’re already in the castle. It’s got basic supplies stashed around to help you survive. The layout is pretty straightforward to navigate, and there’s a good amount of building space to make it your own. You can expand, decorate, or just settle in and work on upgrades.
Hidden Room
There’s a secret stashed away if you look around. Head up the stairs and find the bookshelf on the right. Press the button next to it and a hidden room opens up. Classic castle secret.
Exploring Outside
Beyond the castle walls, you’ve got a full world to explore. The surrounding landscape has enough variety to keep you busy, with natural caves and terrain to work with. It’s peaceful enough for survival mode but interesting enough that you won’t get bored.
How to Install
- Download the map file below
- Extract the folder if it’s zipped
- Put it in your .minecraft/saves folder
- Open Minecraft and load the world

Version Info
This map works on Minecraft 1.21.1 and 1.20.1. It’s best to use one of these versions to make sure everything runs right. Older or newer versions might have compatibility issues.
Multiplayer
Want to play with friends? You can load this on a multiplayer server. Just upload the world folder to your server’s worlds directory and everyone can join in.
