Silk Touch Spawners Addon (1.20)

This addon lets you pick up mob spawners with a Silk Touch pickaxe. Mine a spawner and it drops as an item, mob inside intact. Relocate it wherever you want. You get a fully working spawner that works exactly like the original.

The addon is lightweight, multiplayer-safe, and works on Realms, BDS servers, and everything else. No conflicts with other addons.

How to Use

Install the addon, grab a Netherite pickaxe with Silk Touch, and start mining spawners. That’s it.

If you want to use a different pickaxe type, open the config menu:

/function config_silkspawners

This opens a settings screen where you can:

• Turn the addon on or off without reloading
• Enable spawner drops for specific pickaxes (Netherite, Diamond, Iron, etc.)
• Set the drop chance as a percentage

Installation Requirements

Before you install, make sure:

• You have a Release version of Minecraft Bedrock (not Beta or Preview)
• Beta APIs experiment is enabled in world settings
• You’re using Minecraft 1.20 or newer

For Realms: Download your world, enable Beta APIs, add the addon, upload back.

For Servers: Follow the Realm steps first. If you use Aternos hosting, toggle the experiment switches twice in case they don’t stick on first try. Make sure your host supports script execution.
