Will this mod break time-based events or mods?

No. When the server pauses, all time-based events pause too. When players return and the server resumes, everything picks up normally. Events are protected, not broken.

Does Server Pauser work with other server mods?

Yes. Since it only pauses server ticks, it plays nicely with almost everything. There are no known conflicts with major mods.

How much CPU/power will I actually save?

It depends on what's running. If you have chunk loaders and farms, you could save 50-80% of idle power. If your server is mostly empty space, savings are smaller but still real.

Does this work on servers or single-player?

This is a server-side mod. It works on multiplayer servers. Single-player worlds don't benefit since the game pauses when you exit anyway.

Compatibility

Server Pauser works with most mods since it’s a simple server-side tool. It doesn’t touch item recipes, mob behavior, or mod mechanics. It just pauses the game loop when nobody’s around.

If you use JEI or REI, those won’t show any recipes from this mod because there aren’t any to craft. It’s pure server management.
