Semi-Realistic Resource Pack brings enhanced, realistic textures to Minecraft while keeping your FPS smooth. It works great with Frostburn and includes all the new blocks and sounds from that update.

What’s Included

This pack replaces default Minecraft textures with semi-realistic versions. Blocks, items, and mobs get a visual upgrade without looking completely out of place. The textures are designed to run well on mid-range hardware, so you get better visuals without tanking performance.

Frostburn Update Support

Built for the Frostburn update with all new blocks and sounds included. If you’re running that version or newer, you’ll get the full experience.

How to Install

HD texture packs (32x resolution and higher) need either MCPatcher or OptiFine to work properly. OptiFine is the better choice since it includes all MCPatcher features plus custom graphics settings and performance improvements.

Installation Steps

1. Download OptiFine or MCPatcher
2. For OptiFine: Install it like a normal mod. Open minecraft.jar and place the .class files from OptiFine’s zip inside
3. For MCPatcher: Run the .jar file and click “patch”
4. Download Semi-Realistic Resource Pack
5. Open Minecraft, go to Options > Resource Packs, click “Open Pack Folder”
6. Drop the resource pack file into that folder
7. Select it in the Resource Packs menu and restart Minecraft

OptiFine updates on the same day as Minecraft versions. MCPatcher takes longer to update, but use it if you’re in a hurry.

Compatibility

Works best with OptiFine, which adds connected textures, custom sky support, and other features that make the pack look even better. The pack works on vanilla Minecraft too, but you’ll need MCPatcher or OptiFine to run it at 32x resolution or higher.
