REI (Roughly Enough Items) is a Minecraft mod that works like Just Enough Items but with its own feel. It shows you how to craft anything, where to find items, and lets you grab stuff straight from your inventory even in survival mode. Whether you’re playing vanilla or loaded with mods, REI gives you instant access to every item in the game.
Features
Clean Interface
REI displays items in a simple column on the right side of your screen. You won’t feel like the mod is cluttering your view.
Quick Search
Find any item fast by name, mod, tags, or regex. The search works exactly how you’d want it to.
Favorite Items
Hover over anything and press a key to favorite it. Your favorites show up first so you don’t have to hunt through hundreds of items.
See Recipes and Uses
Click any item to see how to craft it or where to find it. Works for vanilla items and everything added by your mods.
JEI Plugin Support
REI works with JEI plugins, so mods that depend on JEI will work fine with REI too.
Cheat Mode
Toggle cheat mode to grab items without crafting. Some servers disable this, so use it in singleplayer and private servers where it’s allowed.
Export Recipes
Need to save a recipe? REI has a keybind to export them for later reference.
Server Support
REI works on both client and server side, so you can use it even when playing multiplayer.
Fully Configurable
Change how REI looks and behaves. Open the Config button to adjust settings to match how you play.

How to Install
First, install your mod loader. Then:
- Download the REI file for your Minecraft version
- Put it in your .minecraft/mods folder
- Launch the game
