Rough Tweaks Revamped Mod
Healing in vanilla Minecraft is pretty limited. You eat food to fill your hunger bar, wait for it to turn into health, or crack out a golden apple if you’re loaded. This mod throws five new healing items into the mix, each one with different crafting costs and healing speeds. Some are quick and easy to make, others take way more resources but pack more healing power.
If you want more options for staying alive mid-game, this is worth a look. The mod adds depth to healing without going overboard.
What’s Included
Healing Salve
The basic healing item. 4 uses per salve, heals 0.5 hearts each time. Takes the most work to craft but gets you started.
Plaster
Same healing as salve (4 uses, 0.5 hearts per use) but easier to craft. A nice middle ground if you want quick healing without all the grind.
Bandage
Better than both above. 6 uses, 0.5 hearts per use, and super easy to craft. Takes a bit longer to apply but worth the convenience.
Medkit
The upgrade. 16 uses, 1 heart per use. Takes longer to use than the others, but you need all the previous items plus quartz and nether warts. Big jump in resources for a reason.
Enchanted Medkit
The endgame healing item. 16 uses like the regular medkit, heals 1.5 hearts per use, and gives you absorption when you use it. Crafted from a medkit, golden apple, and ghast tear. Most expensive but best healing you can get.
How to Install
You’ll need Forge installed first. If you don’t have it, grab it for your Minecraft version.
Download the mod file for your version below, then drop it in your .minecraft/mods folder. Load the game and you’re done.

Crafting Recipes
The exact recipes are a bit involved. Install Just Enough Items (for Forge) or Roughly Enough Items (for Fabric) and you’ll see them in-game.
