How do I install Redstone Bits Mod?

Install Fabric Modloader and Fabric API first, then place the mod jar in your .minecraft/mods folder. Restart Minecraft and you're good to go.

What Minecraft versions does this mod support?

Redstone Bits works on 1.14.4, 1.16.5, 1.17.1, 1.18.1, 1.18.2, 1.19.2, 1.19.3, and 1.19.4. Download the version that matches your game version.

Do I need Forge or Fabric?

You need Fabric Modloader. This mod doesn't work with Forge. Make sure you also have Fabric API installed as a dependency.

Will this mod work with other mods?

What's the difference between the Placer and a Dispenser?

A Dispenser shoots items out. The Placer places blocks in the world. It's useful for automation that needs actual block placement, like building structures or feeding block-eating machines.

Redstone Bits Mod Overview

Redstone Bits Mod adds three new redstone utilities to Minecraft that give you more control over automation. Whether you’re building a cobblestone generator or something more complex, these blocks fill gaps in vanilla redstone options.

What’s Included

The Placer works like a Dispenser but places blocks instead of throwing items. Give it a redstone signal and it’ll place a block from its inventory in front of it, choosing randomly if it has multiple options.

The Breaker breaks blocks in front of it when powered by redstone. You can put a tool or any item in it, and it’ll use that tool to break the block. It takes the same time as the tool would normally take. You can cancel the break by sending another redstone signal. The GUI shows breaking progress, though block rendering can be a bit buggy.

The Checker is like an Observer but more flexible. Load blocks into its inventory and it outputs a redstone signal if the block in front of it matches any of them.

Combined with vanilla blocks like Observers and Pistons, these pieces let you automate cobblestone generators, tree farms, and tons of other builds.

Installation

You’ll need Fabric Modloader and Fabric API installed first.

Then just drop the mod file into your mods folder (.minecraft/mods).
