Raycraft Mod | Power System Grinder & Infuser

Raycraft adds a brand new power system to Minecraft. You can harness raw power from ore, then use it with grinders, infusers, bombs, and more. It’s a fun way to break up regular mining and crafting.

Features

Power Ore

Find this ore naturally in your world. Blow it up to release raw power. Careful though, the power spreads fast and hurts if you touch it. It’ll fly away from where the ore was and eventually disappear.

Power Holder

Your first tool for controlling power. Works like a battery. Right click it on raw power to capture it. Uses obsidian to slow the power down.

Infuser

Powers blocks and items by throwing power packets at them. Attach a power holder to the bottom, give it a redstone signal, and it fires. Results are random, so you might need a few tries.

Power Shield

Made from infused stone. Stops raw power in its tracks. Build walls with these to contain power safely.

Grinder

Uses high power to break stone and refine ore. Better than normal explosions. Works the same way as the infuser, and releases more raw power from power ore.

Focuser

Takes unpredictable power packets and narrows them down to a single point. Perfect for infusing items. Looks cool too.

Phaser

A gun that shoots power packets. Mines blocks and works as a weapon. Store power in it and fire away.

Power Cube

Simple storage. Right click with a power holder to take power out, shift right click to put power in.

Bomb

Throw it and it explodes. Destroys blocks. Releases more raw power than normal explosions.

Upgrades

You can upgrade your equipment using other materials:

• Max Power Held: Add a chest and iron block to hold more power
• Transfer Rate: Add a sticky piston, diamond, and redstone block to transfer power faster
• Damage (Phaser only): Add redstone and a diamond sword to hit harder
• Speed (Phaser only): Add a redstone block, iron block, and sugar to fire faster

Crafting Recipes

We recommend installing Just Enough Items (Forge) or Roughly Enough Items (Fabric) to see all the crafting recipes in game.

Installation

1. Download and install Minecraft Forge
2. Download the Raycraft mod file
3. Open your .minecraft folder
4. Go to the mods folder (create one if it doesn’t exist)
5. Drag the mod jar file into the mods folder
6. Launch Minecraft and enjoy

v1.0.0 – Initial release.

v1.1.0 – Power ore now requires explosions to release raw power. Added bombs that can be thrown and exploded. Grinder now works with power ore. Both grinder and bombs release more raw power than standard explosions.
