Quartz stairs are a simple decorative block made from quartz blocks. They’re useful for building sleek modern structures and work great with the rest of your quartz builds. Here’s how to make them.
What You Need
To craft quartz stairs, you’ll need 6 blocks of quartz. You can get quartz blocks by mining them in the Nether, or by crafting them from quartz itself if you prefer.
How to Craft Quartz Stairs
Step 1: Open Your Crafting Table
Open a crafting table to access the 3×3 crafting grid.
Step 2: Add the Materials
Place 6 quartz blocks in this pattern:
- First row: 1 quartz block in the first slot
- Second row: 1 quartz block in the first slot, 1 in the second slot
- Third row: 3 quartz blocks in all slots
This is the standard staircase pattern used for most stair recipes in Minecraft. The exact placement matters.
Step 3: Take Your Result
You’ll get 4 quartz stairs from one craft. Move them to your inventory.
That’s it. You now have quartz stairs ready to build with.
Finding Quartz Stairs in Creative Mode
If you’re in Creative mode, you can find quartz stairs in the Building Blocks tab of your inventory. Just grab them directly instead of crafting.
