Project Expansion Mod
Project Expansion Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) is an unofficial expansion of ProjectE, providing an emc display, more ways to passively generate emc and more.
Features:
Advanced Alchemical Chest:
- Advanced Alchemical Chests are Alchemical Bags & Alchemical Chests from ProjectE combined. As with the bags, bands and such put in the chest will function normally. Hoppers and such can be used to automate I/O.
- The color can be changed by holding an alchemical bag, shifting, then right clicking.
Alchemical Book:
- These items can be used to save teleportation locations, which can later be returned to via emc. The higher tiers work across dimensions, and eventually have no cost.
- The Basic Alchemical Book can be used to teleport to locations within the same dimension for a cost of 1000 EMC per block.
- The Advanced Alchemical Book just like the Basic version can only be used within the same dimension, but it has a cost cut (500/block) and allows saving locations with the player rather than the book. This prevents losing them if the book is lost. To change the save location for new locations (existing locations do not transfer), simply crouch, then right click while holding the book.
- The Master Alchemical Book doess just like the Advanced version, the ability to save locations on the player, as well as another cost cut (100/block), and the ability to teleport across dimensions.
- The Arcane Alchemical Book combines everything, saving locations on players, across dimension travel, and an even bigger cost cut (0/block, free).
Alchemical Collection:
- This is an enchantment that can be applied to pickaxes, axes, and shovels. When mining, any drops with an emc value will be converted directly into emc, and added into your personal emc inventory.
- For instance, when mining a diamond. Instead of the normal diamond dropping, you get 8192 emc instead of a diamond. This will also learn the item, as well as still dropping the experience.
- Alchemical collection can be toggled on/off via ProjectE’s extra function keybind. By default, this is C. A tooltip will show if alchemical collections is enabled or disabled.
Collectors:
- Similar to ProjectE’s collectors: passively generates emc & distributes it into nearby receptacles.
- Compressed collectors are purely a crafting ingrident. They are crafted by combining 9 of any given tier. They have an enchanted glow, and cannot be placed in the world or used in any way besides crafting.
EMC Display:
- Your current emc and overall gain/loss can be displayed in the top left corner. This is on by default, and can be changed with a config option.
EMC Link:
- A very useful block. These can be used to import both emc & items, and export items & fluids.
EMC Values:
- By default, emc values are shortened to something like “1 Million”, “5 Trillion”, “69 Sextillion”, etc. The lowest that will be changed is 1,000,000. This can be enabled or disabled via config option. The number names can also be shortened via a config option. To show a full emc number that’s been shortened, hold shift.
Knowledge Sharing Book:
- This item stores your knowledge and can be used to share it with other players. When in survival, the item is consumed upon use.
Power Flowers:
- These passively generate emc, once every second. This goes directly into your emc, and cannot be transferred into adjacent blocks. This can be changed to any amount of ticks between 1 and 200 (20 ticks per second, 20 default). To help combat lag, power flower generation is further bundled up and dispatched to ProjectE in bursts, as having too many active at one time could previously crash the game. This may cause a slight (50-150ms, 1-3 ticks) delay in processing, which will be virtually unnoticeable.
