Do I need Fabric or Forge to use Power Adapters?

You need Minecraft Forge for this mod. Fabric is not supported. You'll also need the Bookshelf mod as a dependency.

Can I use Power Adapters in my modpack?

Yes. The mod is designed for modpack creators. Since it has no default recipe, you can add your own crafting recipe or JEI integration to balance it however you want.

What if my machines need different amounts of power?

Power Adapters converts everything into a universal power unit. The conversion rates vary by system (see above), so you may need to balance your setup with other mods' tools or adjust power output.

Will Power Adapters conflict with other power mods?

The Power Adapters Mod adds a simple but powerful block that solves one of the biggest headaches in modpacks: mismatched power systems. If you’ve ever built a factory only to realize your machines run on completely different energy types, this mod fixes that problem.

What Does It Do?

Power Adapters adds the Power Adapter block, which sits between different power systems and converts between them. Feed it Tesla, Redstone Flux, Forge Energy, or Minecraft Joules, and it converts to a universal power that works with everything.

Here’s the conversion rates:

Tesla = 25 power
Redstone Flux (RF) = 25 power
Forge Energy (FE) = 25 power
Minecraft Joules (MJ) = 100 power

The block has no default crafting recipe. It’s built for modpack makers who want to control how it fits into their progression and balance.

Compatibility
