Do I need OptiFine to use this pack?

Yes, this pack uses OptiFine's CEM feature to replace the models. It won't work in vanilla Minecraft.

Player Villagers Resource Pack (1.18.2, 1.17.1)

This resource pack gives villagers, zombie villagers, illagers, and witches player models instead of their usual look. It uses OptiFine’s CEM to add proper walking and idle animations. The result is NPCs that move and feel like actual players, which is way better than the vanilla animations.

What’s Included

The pack swaps out four entity types with full player models:

Villagers
Zombie Villagers

Witches

Each one gets proper walking and idle animations so they move like actual players instead of the weird vanilla animations. It’s a surprisingly good quality-of-life improvement if you spend time in villages or around outposts.

What You Need

This pack requires OptiFine to work. The CEM features that power the custom models don’t work in vanilla Minecraft. If you don’t have OptiFine installed yet, grab it and install it first.

How to Install

Download the pack for your Minecraft version
Open Minecraft and go to Options > Resource Packs
Click “Open Pack Folder”
Drop the downloaded .zip file into that folder
Click the arrow to move it to the active packs
Done. Restart your world if needed
