Pickable Health Orbs Mod adds RPG-style orbs to Minecraft that drop from mobs. When you pick them up, you get instant benefits like healing, speed boosts, jump boosts, and other potion effects. It’s basically the vanilla experience orb system, but for potions.
What the Mod Includes
You get 8 different orb types by default. All of them can be customized or added to through the config file:
- Healing Orb – Restores health (amount is customizable)
- Poisonous Orb – Inflicts poison for 5 seconds
- Damaging Orb – Deals instant damage like vanilla Minecraft
- Jump Boost Orb – Lets you jump higher for 5 seconds
- Speed Orb – Speeds you up for 5 seconds
- Confusion Orb – Blinds you for 5 seconds
- Levitation Orb – Makes you float for 5 seconds
- Fire Resistance Orb – Protects from fire damage for 5 seconds
Fully Configurable
The best part is how customizable it is. You can edit the config to add your own orbs, pick which mobs drop them, change drop rates, tweak effect duration, and more. Want different effects or orb types? Just modify the config file.
How to Install
You need Forge or Fabric for your Minecraft version. Once you have it installed, just drop the mod file into your mods folder and load the game.
