What’s Included

Classic Lighting

The lighting system from pre-Beta 1.8. No fancy modern rendering, just simple, solid shadows and light that feel familiar if you’ve been playing since the early days.

Original Water & Lava

Water and lava from pre-Beta 1.8 (lava gets the pre-1.5 look). The physics feel different, the animation is different. It’s how it used to be before Mojang changed everything.

Nostalgic Skies

Day sky, night sky, Nether fog, and End sky all go back in time. Building at sunrise or exploring the Nether just feels more retro.

Classic Terrain

Grass and foliage colors from the Alpha 1.2 to Beta 1.7.3 era. The greens are different. Trees look different. Small details that add up to a completely different vibe.

How to Install

Installation is straightforward. Download the file for your Minecraft version and follow our guide:
